Renaissance Festival

Mommy son day out, haha! A couple friends and I went to the Renaissance Festival on one of the only Saturdays I didn't work! It was so nice to be outside in the sun before it gets too sweltering hot!! Sheri took that hot pic of me eating my turkey leg and diet coke... mmmmm!! They boys had a great time and were so excited to pick out their swords! Good thing we had free tickets because this place charges you and arm and leg for everything :)

Where do I start... well Happy New Year!!! There are a lot of posts so brace yourself :) Now that its January and my busiest season for work is over, we are settling down and getting back to normal. Gunner and I are excited to start a new year with new goals. We plan on spending more time together and with our family, growing my business to share my love for photography in the wedding industry and taking time for the more important things in life like church, giving more service and learning the importance of hard work. We'll see how Gunner does with that last one, lol!

Merry Christmas from... DISNEYLAND!!!!

This was the best decision we could have made for a vacation at Christmas time. Disneyland at Christmas is fantastic, with the lights, fake snow and the fireworks were amazing, seriously. The kids loved every minute of it, and the adults probably had even more fun. The best part was that since Gunner is 3 but the size of a 5-year-old, he was tall enough to go on all the rides. And he definitely did and wasn't scared. I would look at his face each time a ride would stop... he had no expression and then would say he wanted to go again. I would have to say that the roller coaster in the rain was my favorite, haha!! Getting pelted by rain at a high speed, wonderful, lol! Even though it rained one day we stayed there and still rode all the rides. We had a great time and will hopefully do it again next year!!!!!!

Christmas

I really didn't take that many pics on Christmas... which is a shocker for me because I love the memories of the holidays. I think I was just burnt out from my busy season of taking photos for other people (which I LOVE) that I wanted to just relax and enjoy the time I had with my little man. We had an amazing Christmas and loved every minute of it. I am so grateful for an amazing son and a great family!!

I don't know what it is with me and sunsets but I am fascinated by them, especially this time of year when the clouds are magenta like this. Gunner actually took two of these three pics from his car-seat with my old point and shoot. Not professional quality, but we took them while driving!!

Airshow

We went to the airshow at Williams Gateway in November some time. We live right by the airport and often drive through on our way to Queen Creek and Gunner freaks each time he sees and airplane. It was fun for him to get to climb inside and pretend to drive!!!

Chuggin Milk...

So I walk into the kitchen yesterday and this is what I find! All he said "mom I was thirsty", put the milk back in the fridge and then hopped back onto the couch and continued watching cartoons. Funny kid... needless to say we had a talk about using cups.

Fresh & Easy has pizza dough for $1. Thought I'd spread the word for a simple cheap dinner. The pizzas were amazing and super easy!

Lake Trip

We went with some friends to Canyon lake yesterday and it was a ton of fun! There were only a few boats and the weather was amazing. It was a good way to spend a day off!! Gunner had a blast. He got to surf, even though he was a little scared, he still gave the thumbs up. He told me after that he was scared of the fishies. Lauren and I were learning how to surf without the rope... sooo fun!

He's finally here! Now.... will it be Carson or Collin??? They still hadn't made a decision today but I'm sure a good nights sleep will help with the decision making process. He is sooo incredibly cute and weighed in at 8 lbs 13 oz, Michelle's biggest by about 2 pounds! Both mommy and baby are doing well... and Ricky, lol! A few more weeks and we'll do a newborn session for this big guy! We couldn't be happier about this new addition to our family!!!

Home Depot

Home Depot has this kids workshop the first Saturday of each month. Ricky has been telling me about it for months but we finally went this month and it was really cool! Gunner got to use the hammer and most importantly wear safety goggles lol!

Michelle's Baby Shower

e are sooo excited for a new baby boy in our family and I know Ricky and Michelle are so happy about the new addition! The baby shower was a lot of fun, chatting with all the girls and eating yummy food. She got some really cute stuff and maybe even a couple name suggestions... since they haven't decided on a name yet we all put our suggestions in a jar to be considered. BUT... not decision yet so we'll wait and keep bugging them! The decorations were really cute and perfect for the occasion since Rick is a Phoenix firefighter. I can't wait to see what Ricky does with the nursery since he is a professional painter. We love you Michelle and are so glad you are part of our family... you look great pregnant!

D-Backs

The boys were so excited to go to the D-Backs with Nana & Papa. Gunner wore his hat all morning waiting for the game. I had to keep telling him we weren't going until after the his nap. When we picked Camrin up he ran out with his hat and glove and a huge grin on his face. They lasted about three innings before they were begging to go to the play place... which was pretty cool. Baxter had a little place to take pics in the 4th inning, as you can tell they were a little apprehensive to take a pic with him. Then there was a little slide play area next to the mini baseball diamond where they could hit balls and run the bases. I'm pretty sure Gunner's favorite part was the peanuts! He made sure we took them home. He kept asking me if we could throw the shells on the ground at home, he thought it was so funny! We had a ton of fun! The last pics are from where we watched Sassy for Nana & Papa. He looks goofy in those pics because he was dancing and singing a song.

Has it really been a month since I have posted? Time flies and have been super busy. I went to the John Mayer concert with some friends and it was a TON of fun. I totally have a crush on him and I LOVE his music, plus he is so talented so, it was a great night. Okay, I could do without the tats but, he is dang good looking. Too bad he's dating Jennifer, ughhh!!

I got to mix work and play this weekend! I had the opportunity to take family photos on the beach for a great family and decided to stay the weekend and make it a little family vacation for Gunner and I. It was great to have my mom with us and Gunner loved having Nana there too. The condo is amazing as always and Gunner got tons of swim practice. We even took a ride on the banana boat... which I was surprised that he kept begging me to do. Oh and he picked out those sunglasses, go figure! To explain what "chicken" has to do with Rocky Point, they really have the BEST chicken there, along with great tacos of course. I seriously crave that chicken when I am at home, mmmm... love it! Wow, that was a long post for me, enjoy!

We went to Outback for Mom's birthday Friday! The boys were working so needless to say we were outnumbered with kids!!! It was fun and hectic but the food was great so that made it worth it. My mom is so giving, loves unconditionally and always has a smile on her face. I am lucky to have her as my mom. Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!

If I could stop time... I would. This little man is growing up too fast! We had a fun birthday party for Gunner with the famous rainbow chip cupcakes that my fam loves! I've made them every year for Gunner's birthday so far so I guess its becoming a tradition! I love my buddy more than words can explain. He makes me laugh every day and amazes me at how smart he is. He just learned how to swim which was so exciting! He only uses one arm but he keeps those legs kicking like a mad man! Happy Birthday Gunner Boy!

Gunner and I try to have our date nights each weekend. Since he gets to choose it usually consists of dinner at "Paradise Berkrery" or "Chick-Fri-A". My friend Aubree, who just got engaged, met up with us at the San Tan mall... Happy Birthday and Congrats Aubbs!!! It was also Kati's b-day so Friday we took her to the Bamboo Club which was a ton of fun! I love that place!!

San Tan Flat & Airplane Museum

I loved this place. We went for dinner tonight and it was great for the kids to run around and have fun!

We went to the airplane museum again and the kids had a blast. They had an army exhibit so there was a lot to keep them entertained. Notice the first three pictures... seriously... I didn't think I would have to worry about this for at least ten more years!!!

This was such a cool park... it was covered by giant covers and the weather was great in the shade. There won't be too many more days we can enjoy the park so I am taking advantage. Kaitlyn had a cute little hat on but took it off before I could get some pictures but she looked darling in it. And, if you notice the way Liam wears his hat... he is straight up from the east coast. We are positive it runs in his blood and we can't stop laughing every time he puts on a hat. Gunner loves wearing his hat and looks like such a stud!!

We went to Rocky Point last weekend and it was a lot of fun! Even though the car ride was a little long with the three little ones, the beach, weather and tacos made up for it. I think we were pretty much on the beach all day long, except for nap time. My parents are the best for putting up with us and letting us stay with them. There are a lot of pictures but we all swapped from our cameras so I had to post a ton. I can't wait to go back... whenever that will be???

Oh, sometimes you just have to laugh. Gunner came out dressed like this last weekend saying "mom, I gettin ready for my football game tonight". So... he may have his sports a little mixed up... but it was dang funny, especially because he did have clothes on and then came out with the golf club sticking out of his underwear.

So, I haven't been so great and keeping a personal blog. Its hard when you take pictures for a living to get out a "point and shoot" and take pictures in your free time. But some moments are just too great not to capture! I've been super busy with the craziness of life and work but I will definitely find more time to update!

A lot of pictures to brag about because they're my family! This is my aunt and unlce and fam. We found a spot free of Christmas lights and it worked out great. I "loved" the colors and the way it all looked together. Those pink shirts are darling. We had a great trip to Rocky Point last weekend. Gunner is a stud in his little jacket and button up shirt! The kids had so much fun that they forgot they needed to nap and go to bed at a reasonable time. It was a fun relaxing weekend! Ricky took us to the offroad race down there and got a few pics. I took these in Queen Creek, thanks to some last minute changes. I am so glad that we did because I love this location!! Another beautiful day at Las Sendas. Misty and her family live in Snowflake and came down for the weekend and to see family and get pictures. Lucky me! Their family was great and so photogenic. If you think you are seeing triple, you are not mistaken. These darling kids all look the same age because THEY ARE! Lorena and Dane have triplets that are 7 and Brooke is 3. This is kind of a random post but every time we drive by the track off of Ironwood on our way home Gunner freaks. So... I took him down there Saturday to see all the vroom vrooms and he loved it. Here is a few shots I got. The kid on the dirt bike is probably not even 8 years old. These kids were crazy! I can only imagine whats in store for Gunner since he loves this sport so much??? I see Rhinos all over but none like these, they actually jumped pretty high.

This was a fun little experience at Las Sendas. We were actually taking photos in front of the larger fountain when another photographer showed up and started posing her family right in our picture. We ended up moving to the smaller fountain and got some really great pictures. We all kind of laughed and was like "did she really just do that"?
